The first rule you need to be familiar with when choosing a cordless drill is this simple fact-the battery you choose to power this tool will ultimately determine the strength and torque you will get. Obviously, the higher the voltage of the battery, the more power you can expect to get from your cordless drill. While this seems to be very exciting option, there are tradeoffs to be made with a higher voltage cordless tool. There is the burden of additional cost and additional weight if you are going for a higher voltage solution for your drilling needs.

These large battery packs take up a lot of room and are pretty heavy, which adversely affects the fuel economy and the storage space in most hybrid cars. These batteries get their power from regenerative braking and/or from the gas engine. Also, they are very expensive, costing thousands of dollars to replace. Which is why they are guaranteed for the life of the car (read you warranty, some states make automakers guarantee the battery for 100,000 miles).

Your iPod uses a lithium battery stocks ion battery. That is not the round kind found in a flashlight. Rather, it is a light, thin battery that is more powerful than conventional batteries.
